The Gilded Eye is a tool item that currently serves no purpose other than having it collected. Its description hints towards a use for it later in the future.
Obtaining
Event
During any Ender Dragon event, the Gilded Eye is obtainable to everyone participating in the event. It is one of the more difficult items to obtain, since the Ender Dragon event typically only happens once every season.
