The Box of Presents is a Christmas-themed currency and consumable item that can be used to purchase items during any Christmas event from Santa Claus.

Obtaining

Event

During any Christmas event, one Box of Presents can drop from any hostile mob with a 10% chance. When this item drops, a bell jingle sound effect plays for the player finding it. The item can either be used as currency to purchase items from Santa Claus or can be opened by right clicking while sneaking whilst holding the item.

Advent Calendar

The Advent Calendar provides a chance for the player to earn multiple Box of Presents throughout the first 24 days of December.

Usage

Box of Presents can be used to purchase valuable items from Santa Claus, an NPC in the North Pole that is present from December 1st until January 1st. Two of them can also be traded to an Elf for 2 Iron Ingots.
