The Candy Cane Kit is a Christmas-themed item that applies a Candy Cane skin to a Pickaxe, Axe, Shovel, Hoe or Sword of any material type. It was first introduced in 2022's Christmas event, and was the first Skin Kit to ever be released.
Obtaining
Event
A Candy Cane Kit can be purchased from Santa Claus over in the North Pole for 16x Christmas Ornament and 8x Box of Presents.
Advent Calendar
The Advent Calendar provides a chance for the player to earn multiple Candy Cane Kit items throughout the first 24 days of December.
Competition
Multiple Candy Cane Kit items can be earned by the top five winners of the Christmas Ornament Collection Competition, or by winning the Gingerbread House Building Competition that was introduced in 2023's Christmas event.
Usage
Smithing Table
The Candy Cane Kit, along with many other kits, can be used by applying it to a tool in a Smithing Table and will only work on Pickaxes, Axes, Shovels, Hoes and Swords.
Item Frame
For decorative purposes, the Candy Cane Kit can be placed on an Item Frame that is placed on the ground to make the kit stand upright.
Removal
Skins can be removed from any tool using the Skin Remover item.

Known Issues
- It is possible to use another skin kit on a tool that already has a skin applied to it, resulting in the player losing the skin that was previously on it. This is unintended and an ETA for a fix is not yet available. Please contact a Staff team member if this happens to you.
Trivia
- Skin Kits are an idea based off of Team Fortress 2's War Paint and Counter-Strike 2's Skins system.
