The Beginning
The Donator Crate Key is a retired tool item allowed players to uncrate a donator-only item such as particle styles, effects or pets.
Obtaining

When donating, the player used to receive one Donator Crate Key per 5 Dollar donation.
Usage
Uncrating
To use a Donator Crate Key, the player was able to right click on the Donator Crate.

Trivia
- Crate keys are the only custom items that don't utilize our current custom items plugin, as it is part of a special crates plugin.
- The item sprite is taken from Terraria; a game made by Re-Logic that came out in 2011, often unfairly called "2D Minecraft".
- The donator crate key was removed due to the negative nature around pay2win and gambling. While the HGG SMP has never offered pay2win features, gambling was deemed to be innapropriate as well albeit the realization was a bit late.
